We chose the name Tulong—which means "help" in Filipino—because it represents the specific kind of help our world needs: mutual assistance that builds bridges between differences rather than eliminating them.

Our founder, Joycelyn David, spent over 20 years building multicultural marketing solutions and witnessed the same pattern across every industry—global teams struggling with cultural miscommunication, products failing in diverse markets, and AI systems perpetuating cultural bias. The problem wasn't unique to marketing or media -- it was systemic across many industries.
